Browser Based Nigeria Limited — BBN for short, RC 803010 — is a limited company based in Lagos, Nigeria. The registered office is Plot 12 Road 6, Lekki County Homes, Ikota Villa Estate, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. The US office is 10000 North Central Freeway, Suite 400, Dallas, TX 75231. The bbnsms.com domain was registered in June 2008 and the business has been operating online continuously since then.
That longevity is the first thing worth knowing about us. Telecom and verification services attract operators who appear, take prepayments and disappear. We have been reachable at the same address for 18 years, which is a different kind of promise: the company holding your wallet balance intends to still be here next year.
BBNSMS is the product we run now. What is live is live, what is not is labelled. You will not find invented customer counts, borrowed logos or badges we have not earned anywhere on this site.

What BBNSMS offers
Three products, one account, one wallet. Each is billing now, and the live rate card is published without a signup.
Prepaid wallet
One balance across every product, topped up by card through Stripe Checkout. The ledger records each credit and debit with the reason it happened.
US and Canada numbers
Dedicated local lines with inbound SMS, ordered and kept for as long as you need them. Search, confirm the first charge, and hold the number on the same wallet.
eSIM data plans and outbound calling are planned, not for sale. They will run on this same account, wallet and ledger, and this page will say so the day they ship.
How we handle your money and your data
Trust in a prepaid service comes down to four questions: who takes the card, where the balance lives, how the account is protected, and who answers when it goes wrong.
Payments handled by Stripe
Card top-ups run through Stripe's hosted checkout. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's page and never reach our servers; we store only the payment reference and the resulting wallet credit.
An append-only wallet ledger
Your balance is not a number we edit. It is the sum of an immutable ledger — the database itself refuses updates and deletes — so every charge, credit and refund can be replayed and audited line by line.
Credentials treated properly
Passwords are hashed with Argon2id, sessions ride on HttpOnly, Secure cookies, and the whole site is served over TLS. We ask for an email address and a password, and nothing we do not need.
Support you can actually reach
Write to [email protected] and a person at BBN reads it. When something is broken or still being built, we would rather tell you plainly than leave you guessing.
Every subprocessor we use, the region it processes in, how we handle an incident, and the compliance claims we can and cannot make are published in the Trust Center, with the Article 28 terms in the data processing agreement.
